I'm sorry I stayed for the after dinner conversation last night. It was all about the Tucson shooting of Rep. Giffords. I'm tired of hearing about it. All we did was rehash the event and didn't solve anything. Along the way we yelled at each other because we have opposing viewpoints.Opposing viewpoints:
He said: The dude should be hung at noon in a public square within 1 week of the trial.
I said: I don't believe in public ridicule but it's all right to be hung.
He said: Do you believe in capital punishment?
I said: Absolutely! (He we do agree on somethings)
She joined in and said: Dude needs to be incarcerated in a mental health facility until healed.
We ponced on that and yelled: No Way Should We Pay For That ...(expletives deleted...fill in your own angry words...)...
All were red-in-the-face!
At that point:

It was time to leave because the conversation had deteriorated to the point where things would be said that would be ugly, mean, and angry.
Goodbye. Maybe I'll revisit this subject later on.
